In 1991 my mother Judy Smith founded  Tiz a Miniature Horse Farm. As a family we showed miniature horses at AMHA sanctioned shows. One of the first fillies born on her farm was Tiz Toyhorse Serendipity. She was brought to our farm and the Follansbee branch of Tiz was developed. Where Krystle (my daughter) and I showed her in 1993. She received many awards in both halter and performance classes. She was bred to to Mocha's Cherokee Moon Dance and Tiz Cherokee Moondance was born the following spring. This was the foundation of our breeding program. We could not have been happier. The summer of 1997 was spent showing our two little horses all over New England. The colt took many blues in his halter class and qualified for the AMHA Nationals. So off we went as a family Rick Krystle-lynn and Myself. With our two horses we returned home with one reserve national championship and five out of the six class we showed in placing top ten. This was without any outside help or professional training. Both horses were shown for three more years building multiple year end high point awards from AMHA, New England Miniature Horse Society and Yankee Miniature Horse Club.
The herd continued to grow and our breeding program developed. Please contact us with questions about any aspect of training or showing your mini.

We’re always happy to hear from fellow horse lovers.
